What took most was aligning all the letters within a loads and loads of rulers within photoshop. I had to scale up and scale down all the letters. I also had to straighten them all up and cut off some of the rough bits. It took a very long time but I'm happy with the result.

OUGD406 - Studio Brief 3 - Chalk Typeface
I wanted to create an analogue typeface for the title of the movie. After looking at Daniel Norris's work It made me want to go ahead with the idea more. I started off by using chalk on black card. I drew out each letter from the title on separate pieces of black card and then scanned it in. After I scanned them in, I increased the contrast of the pictures to show more detail. Then I used the magic wand on photoshop and clicked on the chalk textures from the letters and selected 'select similar'. This highlighted all the chalk from the letters, which enabled me to copy and paste them into a new document. I inverted the letters so it was black on white and used the layer options to overlay them with a solid black colour.
