OUGD406 - Studio Brief 2 - Creative Commute - Viral

Last week i asked student services to place my posters around college and I they appreciated the fact that I went in and asked in person for permission so I put them up around college. This gave me the chance to fully explore the Blenheim college campus. I didn't realise how big the actual college is. There are a lot of rooms!

Not many people have submitted their drawings putting sand not many people had used the booklets. I even reminded them to use them. however it didn't change much. This was a little frustrating however I feel our group as a whole could of been more in sync and organised prior to the final crit and afterwards. The internet plays a huge role in this brief and I don't think we utilised it enough as we should have. We had set up accounts on social networking sites but we hadn't updated them frequently enough or spread the word as much as we should of.

Submissions

There Wasn't even a winner chosen and we even pushed the date back another week after we came back from the interview week.
Our viral failed in terms of popularity in my opinion. Ifeel that the effort that my group put into the production of the booklets was great. However after the final crit, which went really well, the whole project slowed down even though we planned to get it viral after the crit. It didn't really happen at all. The group's communication suffered due to there being a week off for interviews. I feel this was similar with many other groups on the course too. People began to get uninterested in the brief all together and wanted to focus on the new things coming up ahead.
