OUGD505 - Manchester peoples history museum

I visited Manchester peoples history museum with a group of friends to check out the Election! exhibition that we were recommended to go visit as a part of our DP2 module.

Made In Eccles
Aside from the main election exhibition there was a photography gallery space, which showcased some impressive black and white photography of working class Britain.

Looking at the info graphics and sections of the Election! Britain Votes, exhibition really informed me well on the different voting systems, constituencies, and government systems. Before visiting the museum I really wasn't aware that there were different voting systems and did not even know how the votes worked. I didn't think I would be that interested in what was displayed, however the exhibition proved me wrong and gave me insight into new information which made me want to learn more. I had very little knowledge on The voting systems and did not know that there were 3 of them. Learning about First Past The Post, PR & AV was helpful.

There was a white board in the exhibition space with various magnetic objects. I pieced up this bad boy of David Cameron. Pretty good aye'!
