What is User Experience?

“The role a product plays in a person’s life.”

Greenland Inuit / Tactile 3D interaction
Inuits used wooden maps that had been carved into with the coastlines of greenland, so they could tell where about they are by brushing their fingers on them.
How user experience differs
Ebay & Amazon
Searching for items is much easier to use on eBay. It's easier to navigate.
Whereas on Amazon selling items is better.

Google Chrome / Safari / Windows Explorer.

Google shows their popularity within all target markets of new media, which allows their user friendly browser to cross platforms and interact between email, search engine, social media, cloud storage etc. This gives people instant access to the most important elements of there new media routines.

User Needs/Site Objectives
To satisfy the audiences need for various formats of photography and knowledge for old/new photographers. Allow users to submit content for the website.

Functional Specifications/Content Requirements
Images, video and text will be used for website content. For the website to fit the target audience I want them to be able to view a variety of different photographic images with short descriptions/specifications included on a section of the website. I also want to present Interviews in text that would also go alongside images, which are not too lengthy but have a decent amount of information that people would benefit from as the audience, because the audience are more interested in images and may be put off from a lot of text.
