Logo Starter - Cinestill

After looking into the kickstarter projects and assessing each of them I finally decided to go along with the Cinestill project and re-design their logo, which sits on the packaging and rolls of photographic film. The main reason I chose to do this project was because I thought the logo wasn't very good and that it could be improved to cater for a more effective aesthetic which would potentially grab more attention. I also love photography and shoot film whenever I can.  I keep a collection on analog cameras myself, so I thought that this project suited me quite well. I had never heard of Cinestill film so when I saw them I was curious about the product itself, my housemate told me he had used a roll of their film too.

About Cinestill      http://cinestillfilm.com/pages/about-cinestill-film
Their film is unique in the fact that it uses motion picture film and makes it available within 35mm photography and processing. This kickstarter is to help raise money for helping them create a production of 120mm film with the same format of motion picture film that can be developed by C-41 processing. I may have to take into consideration that it's cinema film and not ordinary photographic film when creating a new logo and it's possibly already been taken into account with their current logo. The C & S are joined, maybe replicating the reels of a cinema projector???

“Until now, cinematographers have been spoiled with film technology for years before still photographers got their hand-me-downs in the form of “new” emulsions.  Today, CineStill brings the wonders of cinema film technology to the still photographer.  Now, anyone can use film in the same lighting situations as new blockbuster movies and TV shows such as Inception, Argo, Lincoln,  all of the Batman movies, Django Unchained, Man of Steel, Les Misérables, The Master, the new Star Track films, the forthcoming Star Wars films, all Wes Anderson’s films, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Castle, True Blood, American Horror Story, 30 Rock, and the list goes on and on and on.  No more switching to high ISO digital or on camera flash in tungsten lit environments, because CineStill 800Tungsten Xpro C-41 is now available to still photographers worldwide!
