Type Journal - Liberty Park

This is where I live in leeds currently. This is my halls, 'Liberty Park'. The signage used outside is presented in regular Copper plate. Which is a serif font, that has a gothic style because of the consistency of the line weight/thickness. The font has small glyphic serifs.
The typeface shows an unusual combination of influences. The glyphs are quite similar to stone carving, the wide horizontal axis is quite like old Victorian display types, yet the rest is far cleaner and leaves a crisp impression in letterpress or offset printing.
