Type Journal - Great George St.

Another street sign in leeds with a different font being used. Here it looks to me like its an old styled transitional font. The serifs are transitioned with curves on the letters. The starting letter of each word appears to be larger than the rest of the capitals. I don't think I've seen that before with type, it's almost as if the starting capital is the father capital and is made to be bigger than the rest, like a normal capital letter would be to lowercase letters.
